Don't stop with the Resort Dive Course, go one step further and take the PADI Open Water Certification Course. As a card carrying PADI member you'll be able to dive anywhere in the world, and what better place to start than the Mexican Caribbean.

On completion of your course, you'll enjoy a dive trip to one of the local reefs and then you'll be ready to explore further. Coral reefs stretch south from Cancun to the Belizean border and beyond. Cozumel, Akumal and Chinchorro are famous destinations in dive circles and there are many more reefs awaiting discovery.

  • All scuba gear
  • Pool practice
  • Theory training with a very experienced PADI
    instructor
  • Single tank for shallow dives
  • Two-tank dive for reef at a greater depth
We recommend that you arrive at the marina half an hour prior to departure to pick up your gear and listen to a briefing from the instructors. Bring your swimsuit, a towel, comfortable shoes, biodegradable sunscreen and an underwater camera. As an alternative to applying sun block, you can wear a t-shirt during your time in the water. Do not touch the corals.
Departures: The boat leaves from the Marina located at The Royal Cancun every day at 9 a.m.
