Reef Snorkeling Puerto Morelos

The #1 Snorkeling option! This snorkeling trip takes you to Petempich Bay, near Puerto Morelos and one of the most beautiful reefs in the Mexican Caribbean. Protected by a national marine park, the reef is home to countless species of fish and other colorful sea life and forms part of the world's second longest coral reef system, the Mesoamerican Reef. This guided trip will take you to two different areas of the reef and you'll spend about one and a half hours in the water. During your swim you'll be surrounded by schools of curious fish, sometimes numbering in the thousands. Keep a look out for angel, parrot and damselfish, moray eels, rays and turtles, among others.

The use of sunscreen and insect repellent is not permitted as it is harmful to coral and pollutes the water. As an alternative you can wear a rashguard shirt during your time in the water. Do not touch the coral or remove shells or other marine creatures from the reef. Don't forget your action-cam (go pro) . Bring towel, swimsuit, set of dry clothes and extra money. Tips are not included. Minimum age : 6 years old

Tour runs daily in two different schedules: from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.(pick up around 7:30 am) and from 12:00 noon to 4:00 pm (pick up around 10:30 am). Pick up will depend of the hotel of your stay
